DodoBricks 1.1.0 - The Scoring Update
Driven by real playtest feedback - thanks sinfulness!
- Scoring system: every point of damage scores, bottom-two-row bricks pay double, and chaining full clears builds a multiplier up to x10. Best score tracked alongside best level.
- Bigger board: 8x12 (was 7x9).
- Difficulty curve: spawn density and brick toughness ramp with level, triple-HP bricks from level 35 - late game no longer turns into autopilot.
- 3 new pickups: diagonal lasers (both slants), a rare cross laser, and a split ball that doubles every ball touching it for the round.
- Pickup glyphs: every ring now shows a miniature preview of its effect, and the first-ever trigger of each kind lands in slow motion.
- Treasure bricks (golden "?"): crack one for a bonus pickup ring.
- Healer bricks (green cross): heal their neighbors every round - kill the medic first!
- Double-drop events (from level 30): when the top row pulses red, the next drop pushes TWO rows.
- Boss bricks every 25 levels: a 3x3 monster that swallows whatever it lands on and rains pickups on death. Level 75+ bosses heal the whole board every round.
- Juice: combo hits climb a sound ladder, clutch moments land in slow motion, and the brick palette rotates every 10 levels.
