DockWatch

Know when it arrives. Know when it leaves.

DockWatch is a live boat, zeppelin, tram, and flight timer for WoW: Forever. It shows departure countdowns, arrival times, and moving transports on your World Map and Minimap. It is fully standalone, with no other addons required.

Features

• Works out of the box: verified schedules and recorded paths for every known Forever transport route
• Live map: watch ships and zeppelins move with arrival countdowns, color-coded blue (Alliance), red (Horde), and yellow (Neutral)
• Dock clocks: see the next departure at every transport stop
• Voiced departure warnings: route-specific announcements with three randomized takes, plus Custom and Blizzard sound options
• Flight timers: estimated Flight Map times with a floating countdown, DockWatch bar, or optional Quartz integration
• Minimap button: next departure and known routes at a glance
• Shared schedules: verified rides keep times accurate across layers and languages; built-in baselines keep schedules useful after restarts
• Map-addon support: adds countdowns to Leatrix Maps and MapUtils tooltips

Routes covered: both Deeprun Tram tracks, the Auberdine–Menethil–Southshore circuit, Dalaran–Valanaar, Valanaar–Skywatcher Plateau, Powderfuse–Steamwheedle, and the classic intercontinental routes.

Reading the times

• Normal time: confirmed recently
• ~ before a time: known schedule, not confirmed recently
• Learning: waiting for a fresh sighting after a server restart

Help & feedback

• Other players' schedules never appear: run /dw selftest and include all four result lines in your report.
• Found a bug? Enable /dw debug, reproduce it, and post the messages plus any Lua error in the comments or on the Issues tab.

Translations are included for nine languages, and native-speaker corrections are welcome. Want another transport route or map addon supported? Leave a comment.

Custom alert sound: place boat.ogg in Interface\AddOns\DockWatch\Sounds\ and fully restart the game.
