DialogKey - Aeonzara Edition

A fork of DialogKey - Numy Edition, tuned for WoW: Forever only. It adds keyboard navigation for NPC dialogs and trainers.

⚠️ This is a fork, so don't enable it alongside another version of DialogKey. It uses its own saved settings (DialogKeyAeonzaraDB), so your other DialogKey settings stay as they are.

If you don't play Forever, use Numy Edition instead. It's actively maintained.

This addon is distributed under the GNU GPL v3, the same licence as the original.

What DialogKey does

Press a key instead of reaching for the mouse. Open the settings with /dialogkey, /dkey or /dk.

• Spacebar (rebindable, and you can add a second key) clicks the obvious button: the first gossip option, Accept/Continue/Complete Quest, and the OK button on popups like "Looting this item will bind it to you", setting your hearthstone, and group invites. When none of those buttons is showing, Space jumps as normal.
• Number keys pick a dialog option or a quest reward.
• /dialogkey add while hovering a button tells DialogKey to click it too. /dialogkey remove stops it.
• It doesn't work in combat because of Blizzard restrictions.

What's new in the Aeonzara Edition

• Trainers: Space clicks Train at class and profession trainers, and Up/Down move the selected skill. Pair it with Aeonzara Plus's trainer auto-select to open a trainer and press Space to train the rank-up.
• Keyboard dialog selection: every NPC gossip and quest-greeting option is numbered. A gold border marks the selected option. Up/Down or Tab/Shift+Tab move it (Tab wraps around at the ends), and Space clicks it.
• Every option is numbered: all options are numbered in display order, including quests already in progress. The "Ignore In-Progress Quests" option has been removed.
• Bind a lone modifier: Left Shift, or any Shift, Ctrl or Alt key on its own, can be set as a DialogKey key. Shift+F and similar still bind as before.
• Fix: number keys now pick the reward for the key you pressed, not the one under your mouse cursor.
• Supports WoW: Forever only (build 70009 and later). Other game versions aren't supported.
