DeathSound_1.1.8.zip
What's new
1.1.8
Fixed
- Party emote shown inside raid instances — a small group (e.g. two players) in a raid instance stays a regular party, so
IsInRaid()returned false and the party overlay still appeared; the overlay is now also suppressed wheneverIsInInstance()reports instance typeraid, and re-evaluated onPLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD - Clearing the size / offset field no longer resets the value to its default; the current value is kept
- The delayed popup re-anchor (0.15 s) no longer runs after the player is already alive again
Performance
UNIT_HEALTHis now registered withRegisterUnitEventforparty1-party4only, instead of firing the handler for every unit in the game
Changed
- ElvUI skin:
C_Timer.After(0, ...)replaced byRunNextFrame(...); skin code is now table-driven; removed skin entries for widgets that do not exist - Internal cleanup: shared addon namespace (
ns) for the tooltip helper, chat prefix and dropdown width; duplicated code merged (tooltips, random image pick, overlay positioning, party overlay placement, Sound-ID playback, defaults) - Testing a Sound ID now also prints an error in chat if the sound could not be played
- README: compatibility corrected to match the TOC, Group tab documented
- New folder structure —
Core\(main logic),Integrations\(ElvUI skin),Data\(generatedSoundList.lua/ImageList.lua),Media\Sounds\andMedia\Images\;Locale\unchanged.UpdateLists.batstays in the main folder and was updated for the new paths. Custom sound/image files must now be placed inMedia\Sounds\/Media\Images\(then runUpdateLists.batand/reload). Saved settings are unaffected (selections are stored by name)
