DART - Buff Cap Manager

Combat buff removal is back. Protect your consumables/buffs and take control of your buff cap.

The WoW Classic Era 1.15.9 update broke traditional addon-based buff removal during combat. DART - Buff Cap Manager takes a different approach, allowing you to remove unwanted buffs while in combat.

Unlike ordinary /cancelaura macros, which are limited by how many commands you can fit into them, Buff Cap Manager can cycle through a much larger list of unwanted buffs across multiple macros. Depending on your setup, it can theoretically remove 50 to 100 buffs per second.

Combined with real-time buff cap tracking, this gives you powerful control over which buffs stay and which ones go, helping protect your world buffs, flasks, and consumables from being pushed off.

Features

Combat Buff Removal

• Works during combat: Remove unwanted buffs while fighting, even after the 1.15.9 update broke traditional addon-based solutions.
• Beyond macro limits: Remove far more buffs than you could fit into ordinary /cancelaura macros.
• High-volume removal: Depending on your setup, theoretically process 50 to 100 buff removals per second.
• Uses your existing macros: Add buff removal to the abilities you already press without losing their original functionality.
• Cycles through your list: Each press removes the next group of selected buffs, allowing you to manage hundreds of buffs across multiple macros.

Real Buff Cap Tracking

• See your current buffs against your actual cap, such as 24/30.
• Counter turns orange with one slot remaining and red when full.
• Accounts for hidden buff slots from Warrior stances, tracking, Druid feral talents, and item effects.
• Handles special cases such as Defensive State and hidden-use trinkets.

Full Control Over Your Buffs

• Select exactly which buffs to remove. Anything not selected is left alone.
• Includes approximately 450 buffs organized into world buffs, consumables, class buffs, personal spells, procs, trinkets, and fun items.
• Only displays buffs your character can actually receive.
• Automatically remembers unknown buffs when they appear, allowing you to add them to your removal list.
• Buffs that cannot be removed, such as Paladin auras and totems, are listed separately.

Push-Off History

• Receive a warning when the buff cap causes you to lose a buff.
• Review your last five push-off events, including the incoming buff and the buff that was lost.
• Select unwanted buffs directly from your history.

Tank-Friendly Salvation Handling

• Optionally remove Blessing of Salvation when pressing configured macros while tanking.
• Supports Defensive Stance, Bear Form, Dire Bear Form, and Righteous Fury.
• Switching into a tank stance alone does not trigger removal.

Lightweight

• Monitors changes to your own buffs only.
• Does not scan the combat log or monitor the rest of the raid.

Getting Started

1. Open the Buffs tab and select the buffs you want removed.
2. Open the Combat tab and select the macros you regularly press.
3. Make sure all three setup indicators are green.

Tip: Short macros leave more room for buff removal commands. A simple /cast Heroic Strike macro can leave room to remove up to 20 buffs per press.

Counter Controls

• Left-click: View your buffs and choose Keep or Remove.
• Shift-click: Pause or resume removal.
• Right-click: Open settings.
• Drag: Move the counter.

Choose from four counter styles: numbers only, boxed numbers, a bar, or slots only. You can also hide the counter until you're within three slots of your cap.
