Description
CursorOrb is a lightweight cursor-following HUD for Mists of Pandaria (5.5.3 / Interface 50503). Instead of glancing at your unit frame, all the information you need is always right under your mouse.
What it does
A ring orbits your cursor at all times. Around it, three live data rings update in real time:
• Health arc — a circular ring between the cursor ring and the cast arc, filled clockwise from the top. Colour shifts automatically through three customisable stages (green → yellow → red) based on your current HP percentage, with configurable thresholds for each transition.
• Mana arc — a separate ring outside the health arc, showing your current mana or active resource as a draining/filling arc. Supports any power type the game exposes.
• Cast arc — the outermost ring. Fills clockwise as a cast progresses, drains for channelled spells. Flashes red on interruption. Fully configurable start angle, colours, and gradient.
A small dot sits at the exact cursor tip. Both the ring and the dot can be set to use the same three-stage HP colour so your entire HUD reflects your health at a glance.
Options panel — /orb
All settings are live — changes apply instantly while the panel is open.
• General — scale, ring radius/stroke, dot radius, static or HP-dynamic colours for both ring and dot.
• HP / Mana — enable/disable each arc independently, radius, stroke width, background colour. Three-stage HP colour system with individual colour pickers and percentage threshold sliders for each stage.
• Cast Arc — enable/disable, radius, stroke, start position (quick-pick buttons + fine angle slider), gradient start/end colours, background track.
• Cast Text — spell name and cast timer labels: font size, padding, colour, enable/disable each independently.
• Edit Mode — click Edit Mode in the bottom bar to unlock the orb from cursor-follow. Move your cursor to where you want the orb to sit permanently, then click Lock Position. The position is saved across sessions. Click Edit Mode again at any time to return to cursor-following.
• Reset Defaults — one click restores all settings.
Compatibility
Works alongside ColorPickerPlus — colour swatches use both the standard and ColorPickerPlus APIs automatically.
