CtrlRelease prevents accidental Release Spirit clicks after death. It locks the button when you die and requires pressing CTRL once to unlock it. After resurrection, it resets automatically for your next death.
CtrlRelease is a simple World of Warcraft addon designed to prevent accidental Release Spirit clicks after a wipe.
When you die, the addon automatically locks the Release Spirit button. To unlock it, you must press CTRL once while dead. After you resurrect or accept a resurrection, the addon resets and will automatically lock the button again on your next death.
This is especially useful during raid or dungeon wipes where a mass resurrection may be available, helping players avoid releasing by mistake.
Commands:
/ctrlrelease unlock - Manually unlocks the Release Spirit button while dead.
/ctrlrelease lock - Manually locks the Release Spirit button again while dead.
