# CreshChat v0.02 Alpha

## Everything New Since v0.01

This is a major feature and compatibility update. CreshChat has expanded from a messenger-style chat replacement into an account-wide chat, social, progression and game hub.

## Chat and Messaging

- Rebuilt live chat capture for Whispers, Guild, Officer, public channels, Party, Raid and Instance chat.
- Added direct event capture with duplicate-safe Blizzard handler and message-filter fallbacks.
- Added immediate visible-tab refresh when a new live message arrives.
- Added immediate outgoing message rows with sending, delivered and failed states.
- Added message-delivery reconciliation to prevent duplicate outgoing rows.
- Added storage self-repair so malformed history data cannot disable all chat.
- Added automatic Blizzard-chat restoration after repeated processing failures.
- Added direct handling for common chat aliases while preserving Blizzard handling for non-chat slash commands.
- Routed Player, Target, Party and Raid frame Whisper actions into CreshChat.
- Added cross-realm Whisper target resolution.
- Suppressed only the unavailable-player system line and marked the outgoing CreshChat row as failed.

## Friends, Battle.net and Alt Conversations

- Added an account-wide ordinary character Friend directory collected across all characters.

- Added separate Game Friends and Battle.net Friends tabs.

## Alpha Notes

- This remains an alpha release.
- Some layouts, settings and SavedVariables may continue to change.
- Live testing is still recommended for protected UI actions, Battle.net and Guild refresh timing, voice support and multiplayer games.
- Keep Blizzard chat available until the updated chat routes have been confirmed on your setup.
