CreshChat

CreshChat is a modern messenger-style chat replacement for World of Warcraft Classic: The Burning Crusade Anniversary.

It gives WoW chat a cleaner, more visual interface with message bubbles, detachable conversations, notification cards, player portraits, custom themes and a compact connected chat dock.

Alpha release: This is an early testing version. Features, layouts and saved settings may change before beta.

Card size, position, duration, animation and sounds can be adjusted from the settings menu.

Choose from five prepared profiles:

Profiles can be selected without deleting chat history, colours or window positions.

Installation

1. Extract the downloaded ZIP.
2. Place the CreshChat folder inside:

World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns/

1. Enable CreshChat from the AddOns menu.
2. Log in and type:

/cc settings

Use the following command to open the main chat and composer:

/cc preview

Main Commands

CreshChat supports both /cc and /creshchat.

/cc

Open or close CreshChat.

/cc settings

Open the settings dashboard.

/cc preview

Open the main chat and composer together.

/cc general

Open General chat.

/cc combat

Open the compact Combat Log.

/cc input

Open the minimal chat input bar.

/cc test

Display test notification cards.

/cc version

Display the addon version and database information.

/cc health

Display diagnostic and performance information.

/cc optimise

Check saved settings and apply safe performance limits.

Blizzard Chat

/cc hideblizz on
/cc hideblizz off

Hide or restore the original Blizzard chat window.

Keep Blizzard chat available until CreshChat has been tested on your setup.

Guild Alerts

/cc guild all
/cc guild mentions
/cc guild off

Show all Guild alerts, mentions only, or disable them.

Sound

/cc sound on
/cc sound off

Enable or disable notification sounds.

Profiles

/cc profile balanced

Reset Commands

/cc reset

Reset window positions.

/cc resetui

Reset interface settings without deleting chat history.
