CraftGuard 1.0

CraftGuard 1.0 is the first stable release of the native-style profession, stock, cost, profit, queue and personal Auction House history assistant for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary 2.5.6.

• Queue guidance for outputs already owned, materials to retrieve and materials to acquire, plus exact user-triggered CG Scan searches.
• Session-only Favorites condition filters and smoother list scrolling.
• Native close button and a Settings launcher that can place the CraftGuard macro on an available visible Action Bar slot.

Auction House safety

CraftGuard never starts passive, hidden or scheduled market searches. Exact searches require an explicit user action. Cached Auctionator prices do not become fresh exact availability automatically, and Full Scan freshness is recorded only after Auctionator reports completion.

The purple Market Gap Opportunity state requires fresh verified exact results and conservative own-versus-competitor separation. It identifies a current competition or relisting opportunity; it does not guarantee demand, sale speed or profit.

Upgrade notes

• Existing CraftGuardDB data is upgraded non-destructively to schema 18.
• Settings, Favorites, Queue, stock, price history, craft history, sales history and mailbox reconciliation data are preserved. Do not reset SavedVariables for this update.
• Backing up the account's WTF folder before updating any addon is still recommended.
• CraftGuard 1.0 targets TBC Classic Anniversary 2.5.6 / Interface 20506.
• Auctionator remains optional for core history and stock features; exact searches, Auctionator prices and Selling handoff require it. Version 334 was verified on the target client.
• ProfitCrafting remains optional.

Important limitations

• Auction House deposits are not included in profit decisions.
• Last Sale Profit uses the latest confirmed net unit sale minus the current estimated crafting cost; historical per-sale crafting cost is not stored.
• Bank and mailbox stock are available only after those locations have been opened on the relevant character.
• Smart Cost supports configured deterministic paths rather than every possible profession conversion.

CraftGuard 1.0 was verified in the real target client for clean initialization, schema-17 upgrade, Tailoring, Enchanting, all six pages, Queue crafting, mailbox reconciliation, Auctionator 334 explicit searches and /reload persistence without a CraftGuard Lua error.
