CraftGuard's Real Cost compares direct Auction House and vendor prices with supported recursive crafting paths.

If buying cloth and crafting the required bolts is cheaper than buying the bolts directly, CraftGuard follows the cheaper path and lists the relevant materials under Profitable Reagents. A recipe that appears unprofitable when valued with a direct intermediate price may still have a profitable supported crafting path.

Real Cost prices the full recipe, whether the reagents are already owned or still need to be purchased. Owned materials are tracked separately so you can distinguish total crafting cost from what you actually need to acquire.

Buy only what is truly missing

CG Scan performs exact, user-triggered Auctionator searches for the relevant crafted output and material paths.

In Queue, it focuses on genuine acquisition deficits, helping you buy the quantities you still need without memorizing every reagent count.

CraftGuard also shows materials already available in:

• Known bank inventory
• Known mailbox inventory
• Compatible same-realm characters
• Pending purchases waiting in the mailbox

From favorite recipe to finished craft

Use Favorites filters to quickly narrow your saved recipes by their current condition, select what is worth crafting, and add it directly to the Queue. Skip endless profession-list scrolling. CraftGuard's Favorites filters surface recipes that match your strategy, compare margins and recent sales at a glance, and send your next craft straight to the Queue.

The Queue then separates:

• Materials ready in your bags
• Materials that can be retrieved from known locations
• Materials that still need to be acquired
• Queued crafted outputs you already own

When the materials are ready, continue crafting from the Queue without repeatedly returning to and scrolling through the profession recipe list. Each protected craft still requires its own user click, as required by Blizzard. Stop juggling recipes, bank alts, and shopping lists. CraftGuard's Queue shows what you own, what to retrieve, and what Smart Path still needs, then sends exact missing-reagent searches to Auctionator with one CG Scan.

Crafted Stock combines held inventory with fresh market evidence to help identify current selling and relisting conditions.

Turn forgotten mailbox stock into selling opportunities. CraftGuard finds held outputs across bags, banks, mailboxes, and same-realm characters, then combines sales history and Auctionator prices into clear margin signals.

Market Gap Opportunity appears only when a fresh, user-triggered exact result provides reliable evidence that no competing listing is present—or that every confidently identified matching listing belongs to you.

It is a competition signal, not a guarantee of demand, sale speed, or profit.

Your Strategy, Your Thresholds

Set your own Not Profitable, Low Margin, Profitable, and High Profit thresholds, together with a minimum absolute-profit requirement.

Choose the behavior that matches your strategy:

• Advisory — Shows the numbers and never blocks crafting
• Loss only — Blocks only recipes with a confirmed loss
• Low + Loss — Also protects against confirmed low-margin crafts

Whether your approach is aggressive or patient, CraftGuard adapts its condition language and protection to your settings.

Your strategy, your rules. Set custom profit thresholds and minimum profit, choose Advisory or protective craft blocking, include same-realm listings, and resize the Blizzard-style panel to fit your UI.

Player-Controlled by Design

CraftGuard never performs passive, hidden, scheduled, or automatic Auction House searches.

Every CG Scan begins with an explicit user action. Every protected craft also requires its own click. Cached prices alone cannot create a fresh exact Market Gap Opportunity.
