Craft or Miss
Every recipe for your professions — which you know, which you still need, and exactly where to get them.
Open the window (minimap button or /cram) and pick a profession tab on the left. Only the professions your character actually has get a tab.
What you see
- A checklist — every recipe has a box: ticked if you know it, empty if you don't. Open your profession window once and Craft or Miss remembers; new recipes tick themselves the moment you learn them.
- Where to get it — trainer, vendor, reputation quartermaster, dungeon, raid, world drop or (for Alchemy) discovery, always with the NPC and zone: Vendor: Zurai (Zangarmarsh), Drop: 2 mobs (Netherstorm), Raid: Karazhan. Hover for the full list with prices and drop rates.
- Your faction only — Horde and Alliance see their own vendors and trainers.
- Reputation — quartermaster recipes show the rank you need, green if you have it, red if not.
- Specializations — Mooncloth / Shadoweave / Spellfire, Dragonscale / Elemental / Tribal, Armorsmith / Weaponsmith and the master smiths, Gnomish / Goblin: marked green or red for your character.

TBC recipes are shown by default; tick Show Classic recipes for the 1–300 set. Recipes from content phases that aren't out yet are hidden — the footer tells you how many.
Tooltips
- Recipe items — anywhere you see a Design, Formula, Pattern, Plans, Schematic, Recipe or Manual (bags, auction house, chat links): where it comes from, the skill it needs, and which of your other characters already know it.
- Mobs — hover a mob to see which recipes it drops for your professions and how often.
