Displays how much time is left before an ability can be used numerically on your action bars.
In addition to actual cooldowns, it displays on abilities that use energy, runes or mana based on your current regen rate.
Also displays how much time is left on your buffs or debuffs on yourself or your target.
Hey recently Crackcooldown shows on Weakauras for me and it doesn't go away by opting "don't show cooldown text" in weakauras... any help?
In reply to Forge_User_26666565:
The same problem. Very annoying.
It also appears on the icons of companions when they gain experience - it looks very strange.
Why do numbers snap to the top right of the icon? After each update, I have to manually correct the core.lua so that the cooldown on the DK's runes and buffs of allies is centered, and not somewhere over the player's frames.
P. S. Thank you for continuing to support the modification.
In reply to Lord_Romzess_V:
Hey there,
Cooldown numbers get moved to the corner so they're out of the way when the button they're displaying on is too small to center the text without blocking your view of the icon behind it.
For accessibility purposes it's important for the player to be able to identify what the cooldown is for without the number covering it up.
Your description makes it sound like they're displaying in some random location instead of being centered on the top right corner of the buttons, could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing and the code you're changing to fix it?
In reply to semlar:
Your words make sense.
It just really seemed to me at some moments that this was some kind of bug: the class resource usually does not change, even if it is closed with a number - I will know that there is a rune. And on the frames of the group in ShadowUnitFrames it really looks ugly.
On line 254: timer.text:SetPoint("CENTER", timer, "TOPRIGHT") > timer.text:SetPoint("CENTER", timer, "CENTER")
On lines 562. 565 and 568 remove "TOPRIGHT" to insert "CENTER"
The screenshot below is a bit old, I have already applied the mentioned fixes for a long time, since then there have been no screenshots with such a display of the cooldown - now no one wanted to join the group for verification.

And the fact of blocking the icon by the number can also be corrected using 60-70% transparency, I think so.
In any case, can you specify the ability to center the cooldown in the settings?
Will this be updated for use with SL prepatch?

ERROR I GET WHEN I CLICK ON SETTINGS IN INTERFACE FROM BugSack
I have the same problem as ripmyeyesout - it is not possible to access the settings.
I love this addon but atm it is not letting me get into the config at all. if I go into the addon tab nothing shows up and if I type /cooldowncrack it wont let me hit enter.
Any suggestions?
Is there anyway for the old energy regen rate to show as a cooldown?
In reply to Teddyzipper:
I absolutley love this addon.
And I am very thankfull that it was updated and works with 8.0
But there's a feature I'm missing. It used to show in green numbers the duration a certain buff or debuff it had on the target and/or myself.
For example, it showed in green text the duration of Rupture on the target. Also, when I had a self buff up, like Roll the Bones, it showed in green numbers the duration left of the buff on myself. Is it possible to have it back?
Also, when using an ability from stealth, the cooldown text remains on top the ability outside of stealth.

And the aura text works perfectly now. I shouldn't have used RtB as an example. :D
In reply to Semlar:
I'm back. :D
So, I've written this on the Weak Aura page as well, and they responded that no change has been made to the addon on this particular interaction.
Before 8.0 hit, Weak Auras, when selected the Cooldown modifier, would place a number on top of the Aura that could count down for the duration left on the buff. This functionality still exists, as long as you enable the "Show numbers for Cooldowns" in the Blizzard UI interface.
Thing is, before 8.0, WA used to take the Crack Cooldown numbers. (So, without having the selection on the Blizzard Default UI), it also used the larger numbers from the addon, and kept them color coded.
Something changed, since WA won't use the Crack Cooldown numbers now. Any idea why? Is it something that can be brought back? Or is there a setting or settings that I can change to bring it back?

Yes. I'll link the string at the end of the post. It's for Affly Warlock, but I use similar WAs on all the classes and specs. Since I kinda use WA instead of Tell me When, in order to keep track of buffs/debuffs and rotational stuff. It's really basic, nothing special to it.

Thank you again for your help, you are amazing!
L.E. Works like a charm! Thanks! My UI is just the way it was before 8.0!
