ConfigManager 0.9.0

New

  • Class and spec presets for every class. 28 presets covering all 27 talent trees (Feral as cat and as bear). Each preset fills your action bars and sets matching key bindings:
    • Bar 1 (1–5, Q, E, R, F, G, T, V): rotation and core abilities
    • Shift bar: cooldowns and defensives
    • Ctrl bar: buffs, stances, utility
    • Alt bar: pets, conjured items, rarely used spells
    • Stance and form bars: Warrior stances, Cat / Bear / Moonkin Form, Stealth openers
  • Spells are placed by name, so you always get the highest rank you know. Spells you haven't learned yet are skipped; load the preset again later to fill them in. Spell choice based on Icy Veins and Wowhead (TBC).
  • The spec suggestion's Tank / Healer / DPS buttons now load the preset of your class for that role.
  • /cfgm checkpresets lists preset spells your character doesn't know yet.
  • Pick your real keyboard. Layout and size are asked for instead of guessed from your game language. Five sizes (100 %, TKL, 75 %, 65 %, 60 %), F-row as a separate option, L-shaped ISO Enter. Change it any time with the keyboard button or /cfgm keyboard.
  • Choose what a profile loads: pick the sections (bindings, bars, macros, settings, chat) applied when a profile is loaded.
  • Account or character bindings: a button in the main window switches where your key bindings are saved.
  • Shorter export strings thanks to compression. Same format on every WoW version; old strings still import.
  • Macro icons that don't exist in the target version are replaced with the question mark.
  • One Import / Export button instead of two.
  • Scroll bar in the list view.
  • The profile manager explains that only the last 5 backups are kept.

Fixed

  • 65 % and 75 % ISO keyboards: Page Down no longer overlaps the Enter key.
  • List view: rows no longer run below the table.
  • Import dialog: the "Key bindings are saved" note is no longer hidden behind the buttons.
  • Keyboard view: the layer statistics no longer run into the key detail panel.

Known limitations

  • Gamepad bindings are not supported yet (planned).
  • Settings of other addons are not copied yet (planned).
