Community Raid Ledger

A role-based community raid ledger for tracking gold, transactions, access permissions and sale items in World of Warcraft.

Community Raid Ledger is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon for community raids, guild groups, boost communities, shared raid funds, and other player-organized activities.

It provides a simple and transparent way to manage a shared ledger directly inside World of Warcraft — including gold, transactions, bank items, inventory, auctions, member permissions, and activity logs.

Main Features

Shared Gold Ledger

  • Track the current gold balance
  • Record income and expenses
  • Transactions support Gold, Silver, and Copper
  • Automatic total calculation
  • Unique transaction IDs such as TX-000001
  • Full transaction history for authorized roles

Custom Ledger Name

  • Administrators can rename the ledger
  • The selected name is synchronized with all authorized members

Bank & Inventory Tracking

  • View items stored on the designated bank character
  • View the bank character's current inventory and bags
  • Item information is synchronized with authorized users

Auction House Tracking

  • Dedicated Auctions tab
  • Shows active auctions from the bank character
  • Displays item, quantity, price, and remaining auction time
  • Auction information is visible to Admins, Officers, and Viewers

Permission System

Community Raid Ledger uses three permission levels:

Administrator

  • Full ledger access
  • Manage transactions
  • Manage bank character
  • Invite Viewers and Officers
  • Change member roles
  • Remove members
  • Transfer Administrator ownership
  • View the complete access log

Officer

  • View transaction history
  • View bank, inventory, and auctions
  • Invite Viewers without Administrator approval
  • Remove Viewers
  • Manage Viewer access
  • View access activity

Viewer

  • View current ledger information
  • View bank and inventory
  • View active auctions
  • No administrative permissions

Administrator Transfer

Administrator ownership can be transferred to another existing ledger member.

For additional security, transfers require a 3-second confirmation countdown.

After a successful transfer:

  • The selected player becomes the new Administrator
  • The previous Administrator automatically becomes a Viewer
  • Ledger data and permissions are transferred
  • The transfer is recorded in the access log

Both players should be online during an Administrator transfer.

Leave a Ledger

Officers and Viewers can leave a ledger themselves at any time.

Leaving also uses a 3-second confirmation countdown to prevent accidental actions.

The departure is recorded in the ledger's access history.

Access & Activity Log

The addon keeps a history of important permission changes, including:

  • Players joining
  • Players leaving
  • Players being removed
  • Role changes
  • Viewer invitations by Officers
  • Administrator transfers

This makes it easy to understand who changed access and when.

Minimap Integration

Community Raid Ledger includes a movable minimap button.

  • Left Click: Open / close the addon
  • Right Click: Open access management
  • Drag: Move the minimap button
  • /crl minimap: Show or hide the button

The addon also integrates with Blizzard's Addon Compartment.

Localization

Community Raid Ledger currently supports 10 languages:

  • English
  • Deutsch
  • Français
  • Italiano
  • Español
  • Português (Brasil)
  • Русский
  • 한국어
  • 简体中文 — Simplified Chinese
  • 繁體中文 — Traditional Chinese

By default, the addon automatically uses the language of your World of Warcraft client.

You can also manually select a language directly inside the addon.

Once a language has been selected manually, it remains saved across:

  • /reload
  • Character changes
  • Logging out
  • Game restarts
  • Addon updates

Selecting Automatic restores automatic detection of the WoW client language.

  • Event funds
  • Raid expenses
  • Player contributions
  • Transparent community accounting

Players do not have to be members of the same guild.
