Combo Points on Plate

Combo Points on Plate displays your combo points directly above (or below) the health bar of your current target's nameplate, so you can track your resource without looking away from the fight. Designed for rogues and cat-form druids on World of Warcraft: Forever.

How it works

Combo Points on Plate repositions the default Blizzard combo point display and anchors it to your target's nameplate. Because the game itself continues to handle the counting, the addon is fully compatible with Forever's protected combat values and adds no combat calculations of its own.

Options

Type /cpp to open the options window, also listed under Options > AddOns. Everything updates live:

• Position: above or below the health bar, horizontal offset, distance from the bar
• Size: dot size and spacing between dots
• Style: Glow, Classic, Flat, Diamond, or the original Blizzard art
• Color: nine presets or any custom color
• Preview: a sample nameplate in the window, plus a test row on your current target so you can see the exact spot even with zero combo points

Your settings and the Forever beta

The Forever beta client currently forgets addon settings every time the game is restarted (it affects every addon). To get around it, Combo Points on Plate keeps your settings inside an account macro named CPP Settings. It is created the first time you change a setting, it only contains comment lines (so pressing it does nothing), and your settings come back on their own at the next login. It uses one macro slot and can be turned off in /cpp. Once Blizzard fixes the beta, the macro will no longer be needed.

World of Warcraft: Forever is in active development and its interface may change between builds. If the display stops working, target a mob, type /cpp debug, and post the output together with a screenshot in the comments.
