A lightweight, raid-wide Onyxia Scale Cloak checker for WoW Classic.

This addon silently checks who in your raid has their cloak equipped, in bags, or missing entirely. It’s designed to be fast, unobtrusive, and low-overhead, with no spam in /raid chat — results are printed only to the player running the command.

Features

• Silent cloak check with /cc or /cloakcheck - Green: Equipped - Yellow: Not equipped (in bags) - Red: Not equipped (missing) - Red: Has addon but no response (addon enabled, but no reply — e.g. reloading UI, lag, slow PC, etc) - Author may increase this check threshold if needed

• Version check with /cc list   - See who has the addon, and whether they’re on the same version (green), an older version (yellow), or have no addon (red).

• Danger list with /cc danger   - Tracks raiders who didn’t have their cloak equipped last /cc check. - Silent re-check: shows “Now has cloak” (green) or “STILL NO CLOAK” (red).

• Lightweight & safe   - No /raid spam, no heavy scans.   - Built-in cooldowns on /cc and /danger to avoid abuse and CPU-spikes.  - Responders pace replies at 50ms intervals to avoid spikes, even if multiple commanders check at once, an automatic queue is initiated with a first-come first-serve process.  - Results finalize quickly (within ~1s or less).

Commands

• /cc or /cloakcheck — Run a cloak check (summary printed locally).
• /cc list — Version snapshot of your raid (green/yellow/red).
• /cc danger — Silent recheck of anyone flagged without cloak last run.
• /cc help — Prints command list.

Notes

• Works only for raid groups.
• No SavedVariables — everything is memory-only and resets each session.
• Designed for Classic Era, Hardcore, or other Classic branches.
• Anyone in the raid with the addon can initiate checks.
• The main goal here is for interested parties to "check" if their raid friends are safe by wearing their cloak during specific boss encounters.
