Description
# Claw Quest Tracker
**A quest tracker built around where you are.** It groups your quests by location, shows you the way on the minimap and the world map, and tells you which quests get you to the next level fastest.
Made for **Mists of Pandaria Classic**. Retail is supported as well (experimental). The addon speaks **English and German** automatically, based on your game language.
---
## Highlights
- **Location-aware grouping**: quests close to each other are bundled into one group, and the groups are ordered by your position. You always see what you can finish right here, right now.
- **Fastest level-up planner**: a banner tells you how much XP is missing for the next level and which groups get you there quickest. One click on **Best** guides you to the best group.
- **Real navigation**: minimap arrow with distance, numbered quest pins and a **route line** across the world map, plus a hover tooltip on the minimap that shows which quest an area belongs to.
- **Syncs with the game's own tracking**: whatever you select in the Blizzard tracker, the quest log or on the map becomes the active quest in the addon, and the other way round. Quests that report progress become active automatically.
- **Quest items done right**: the item sits next to its quest, a click uses it, with **cooldown timer** and a green/red **range frame** (green = in range) just like the original.
- **Looks like your UI**: Blizzard style with the classic dialog frame, ElvUI / Tukui styling, and **EllesmereUI** through its official skinning API. A custom dark style and a "quests only" mode are included.

## All features
### Grouping, sorting and planning
- Group by **proximity** (adjustable radius), by **zone**, or turn grouping off.
- Sort by **distance**, **XP efficiency**, **quest level** or **quest giver**.
- **Level-up planner**: shows the missing XP (with one decimal), the best set of groups and an estimated time. Dungeon and raid groups can be left out of the plan.
- Adjustable walking speed and seconds per objective for realistic time estimates.
- Region tags for **open world, dungeon and raid**, with a region filter.
### Navigation
- **Minimap arrow** with distance and hints: target is **above or below you**, or you have to **go into a cave or building**.
- **World map pins** with numbers, and a **route line** through all quests of a group.
- Distance as **meters, yards or travel time**.
- **Minimap hover tooltip**: move the mouse over the quest area on the minimap to see which quest the area belongs to.
- Optional **minimap button**: left-click toggles the tracker, right-click opens the options, drag to move it.
### Tracking
- **Left-click** a quest: navigate and make it the active quest. **Right-click**: open it in the quest log. **Shift-click**: show it on the map.
- **Group headers**: left-click collapses, right-click navigates to the group.
- **Auto-tracking** modes: off, continue the current quest, always the **nearest quest**, or the fastest level-up group.
- **Auto-advance** to the next quest after you finish one.
- **Activate on progress**: the quest you just made progress on becomes the active one, even if several quests share a spot.
- **Two-way sync** with the game's tracker, quest log and map.
- Quests that can be **turned in without an NPC** are marked, and one click opens the turn-in window.
### Quest list
- Rows look like the Blizzard tracker: level in difficulty colors, objectives, and a note for finished quests.
- Optional **progress bar** for the active or for all quests.
- **Quest items** with click-to-use, cooldown timer and range frame.
- **Quest giver** shown behind the quest name when sorting by giver. The addon remembers the giver for quests you accept while it is installed.
- Optional extra line with level, distance and XP.
- Mouseover tooltips on NPCs, objects and items show which quest they belong to, with the XP and the percentage of your level.
- Option to **hide Blizzard's own quest tracker**.
### Appearance and options
- Themes: **Auto** (picks EllesmereUI, ElvUI or Tukui if present), **Blizzard original**, **Custom**.
- Background on/off, adjustable opacity, **"quests only" mode** (the menu shows on hover), lockable and resizable window.

## Good to know
- Quest positions come from the game's map data. Quests without a known position are listed under *No position / other region*.
- The route line is a straight line between points; there is no pathfinding. The game gives addons no height information for the open world, so "above / below" hints depend on what the client provides.
- The quest giver is not stored by the game, so it is only known for quests you accept after installing the addon.
- Retail support is new and less tested. If you run into a Lua error, please report it with the error text and `/cqt debug`.
## Feedback
Bug reports and ideas are welcome. Please include your game version and, for errors, the full error text.
