ClassicProcAuras

Blizzard-style spell proc overlays for WoW Forever, with lightweight customization and class-specific controls.

ClassicProcAuras brings familiar, animated spell activation artwork to the center of your screen when supported class procs become active. It uses WoW's native aura-container functionality to drive the overlays, without requiring the Cooldown Manager to track the buff.

Supported Classes & Procs

Support is intentionally focused on these verified implementations; additional class procs may be added in future releases.

Features

• Blizzard-style visuals: Familiar left/right spell activation overlays, including original Blizzard artwork for supported procs.
• Automatic proc display: Overlays appear based on the appropriate active aura, without manually tracking buffs in the Cooldown Manager.
• Per-class aura toggle: Enable or disable your class's supported overlay from a simple checkbox under Supported Auras.
• Adjustable size: Scale overlays from 50% to 120%.
• Adjustable transparency: Set opacity to your preference.
• Optional pulse: Turn the gentle pulsing animation on or off.
• Live test mode: Preview your class's overlay and experiment with the appearance without waiting for a proc (out of combat).
• Persistent settings: Your appearance and enable/disable preferences are saved between sessions.
• Combat-conscious behavior: Changes requiring protected frame updates are deferred until combat ends.

Getting Started

1. Install ClassicProcAuras in your WoW Forever AddOns folder and enable it.
2. Enter the game on a supported class.
3. Type /cpa to open the settings window.
4. Adjust the appearance and use Start Test to preview the overlay while out of combat.

Compatibility & Notes

• Built for WoW Forever and its available native aura APIs.
• No Cooldown Manager tracking is required for supported buffs.
• The test preview is only available outside combat.
• Some settings changes made during combat take effect when combat ends.
• Unsupported classes do not currently display proc overlays.
