Cinematic Movie Sound

This is a very simple addon. It enables the sound when a cinematic movie plays and turns it off when it ends.

This addon is great for anyone who like to play with the sound turned off, but doesn't want to miss out on the cinematic movies.

New in Version 2.0

Sound will now also turn on for Talking Heads which can be found during various Quests and Instances.

If you don't want the sound on for Talking Heads, i have also added a slash command (/cms) which you can use to toggle sound for Talking Heads on and off. You will need to /reload to make the changes take effect.

Known Issues

Sometimes after a movie, the sound is still on. (Kind of defeats the purpose, right?)

This is why.

Blizzard is using a mix of 'Cinematics' and 'Movies'.

When a cinematic starts, there is an event 'cinematic_start' and when it ends ' cinematic_stop'. When a movie starts, there is an event 'play_movie', but when it ends, there is no event. When the addon see's a start event, it enables the sound and disables the sound with the stop.

Since there is no stop event for a 'movie' there is nothing i can use to trigger the sound to disable.

Workaround

As a solution, i have used the 'quest_complete' event. Usually after a movie, you are turning in a quest. So when you go to turn in your quest, the sound will disable.

If i come across a better event to use after a movie, i will update the addon.
