What's new

Changelog

  • Restored the golden frame and corner accents around the highlighted instance card in Dungeons & Bosses.

  • The same card styling now applies to highlighted boss and loot entries, while regular list rows retain their open layout.

  • Updated the Access Paths quest dossier to match the framed detail views, including a quest icon, subtle visual motif, and clearly separated sections for objectives, quest text, and instructions.

  • Full client quest text is now displayed for accepted quests or quests opened at the quest giver and is cached for later viewing. Quests that have never been seen still display their historical objective hint.

  • Reduced image card height in Instance Knowledge and Raid Knowledge to 88 pixels and adjusted spacing and image cropping accordingly.

  • Restored golden dossier frames and corner accents in Access Paths, trainer and weapon views, as well as quest, NPC, character, inventory, chronicle, death, and gold detail views.

  • Regular list rows retain their clean, box-free appearance.

  • Updated the Access Paths quest list and quest dossier to match the open layout used throughout the other Chronicle views, removing unnecessary additional boxes.

  • Adjusted the detail view height to the visible content area so the action button remains accessible.

  • Access Paths now displays quest steps on the left and the selected quest, including objectives and available quest text, on the right.

  • Restored missing frames around the quest list and detail view. Quest giver map markers and item links remain accessible.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented expanded quest objectives from being collapsed again.

  • Item tooltips in Access Paths are now anchored to the mouse cursor.

  • Quest steps with confirmed completion are subtly highlighted in green, while confirmed incomplete steps are highlighted in red. States that cannot be verified remain neutral.

  • Quest steps can now be expanded. Active quests display their current objectives from the quest log, while quests that have not yet been accepted display a short historical objective hint.

  • Added clickable WoW item links for keys and other access items used in quest chains. Hovering displays the item tooltip, clicking opens the item window, and Shift-clicking inserts the item link into chat.

  • Quest and item names are now loaded asynchronously from the WoW client when necessary, and the Access Paths view updates automatically once the data becomes available.

  • Reviewed Access Paths text across all seven supported languages and corrected terminology for items, map actions, and key-only access paths.

  • The dungeon overview in Access Paths now only includes areas with a historical key or access path: Scarlet Monastery (Armory/Cathedral), Scholomance, Upper Blackrock Spire, and Dire Maul (North/West).

  • Removed shortcuts, side entrances, and boss-summoning paths from the dungeon overview. The raid overview remains unchanged.

  • Updated the dungeon overview description in all seven addon languages to explain this selection.

  • Reduced Access Paths overview image cards to roughly half their previous height and adjusted image cropping, typography, and spacing accordingly.

  • The Access Paths overview now displays dungeons and raids as two-column image cards using the existing Chronicle loading screen artwork.

  • Clicking an image card now opens the corresponding quest chain directly.

  • Quest steps are displayed as clean list rows with separators and a text link for map markers. The header and back button now use the same styling as the other Chronicle categories.

  • Access Paths now opens as a dedicated detail view within the main Chronicle window, with a matching header, quest cards, and back button.

  • Map buttons now place a WoW waypoint for recorded quest givers and open the corresponding zone map, even if the quest has not yet been accepted.

  • For all three Naxxramas variants, the map button now points to the starting location at Light's Hope Chapel.

  • Quest giver waypoints are now explicitly described as starting points rather than quest objectives. Entries without reliable location data display a clear notice.

  • Expanded historical access and key chains with relevant quest steps for Onyxia, Scholomance, Maraudon, Blackrock Depths, and additional instances.

  • Alliance and Horde variants are now separated. Alternative quest versions for Molten Core and Naxxramas are explicitly marked as alternatives.

  • Custom quest and item titles now replace empty fallback labels such as "Quest #7848" when the WoW client cannot provide a name.

  • Detail windows for long quest chains are now scrollable, while each quest retains its individual map button.

  • Keys and access items without an associated quest path are now displayed separately as historical notes.

  • Clicking a dungeon or raid in Access Paths now opens a dedicated, movable detail window.

  • Associated quest steps and keys are displayed there together with their recorded status.

  • Every quest includes a map button. Active quests open their details on the WoW map; if no map data is available, a clear explanatory message is shown.

  • Added a new Access Paths knowledge page covering all dungeons and raids in the catalog.

  • Historical quest and key paths now display verifiable quest completions, active quests, owned items, and the next verifiable step.

  • Forever access rules are explicitly marked as unconfirmed. Missing beta data remains unresolved rather than incorrectly implying that access is either locked or unlocked.

  • Added the new page and all related status messages in all seven supported addon languages.
