ChatPing

ChatPing plays a sound when new chat messages come in, so you don’t miss things while you’re in combat, moving, or just not watching your chat window.

You can turn alerts on or off per chat channel and assign different sounds to each one. There’s also a built in spam filter so sounds don’t constantly fire in busy chats.

If you want a visual cue as well, ChatPing can show a subtle glow effect when an alert triggers. Everything is configurable through the in game options menu.
