ChatPanel
ChatPanel is a lightweight World of Warcraft Forever Beta addon that adds a compact movable bar for fast access to your most frequently used chat channels while keeping the standard Blizzard chat experience.
It is designed for players who want a faster way to:
- switch quickly between common chat destinations
- access numbered channels such as /1, /2, /4, or custom channels
- keep frequently used chats available in a compact action-bar-style panel
- customize shortcut icons and optional labels
- reorder chat shortcuts to match their preferred layout
- use Blizzard's normal chat input instead of replacing the chat system

Numbered Channels
ChatPanel automatically detects numbered channels available through the standard Blizzard chat system.

Channel numbers can change depending on location or session. ChatPanel stores the channel identity where possible and resolves its current number when the shortcut is used.
Blizzard Chat Integration
ChatPanel does not replace the World of Warcraft chat system. Clicking a shortcut opens the normal Blizzard chat input with the selected destination already active. Messages are never sent automatically.
Customization
- Add, edit, reorder, or remove chat shortcuts
- Choose icons from the client's available macro icons
- Add optional text directly to shortcut buttons
- Show or hide the Add button
- Move the bar anywhere on the screen
- Lock the bar when its position is set
- Adjust the bar scale from 60% to 160%

/chatpanel lock — Lock the bar position
/chatpanel unlock — Unlock the bar position
/chatpanel resetposition — Restore the default bar position

Beta Status
ChatPanel is currently in beta development. Features and compatibility may be adjusted as the WoW Forever Beta client changes.
