What's new

Chat Links 5.13.0

New

  • Added an option to turn off link history. When it's off, clicking a link only opens the Ctrl+C window, without the History button, Remove button or note field.
  • You can turn it on or off in the options panel, in the journal's settings menu, or with /cl history.
  • With history off, the minimap button and /cl open the options instead of the journal.
  • Links you saved before are kept and come back when history is turned on again.

Retail support

  • Added support for the current Retail client (Midnight).
  • Clicking links works on both Retail and older clients.
  • Links now work in instance chat, Battle.net whispers and community channels.
  • Invite links are not added to Battle.net whispers.

Fixes

  • The addon no longer tries to set up chat events that don't exist on the current game client.
  • Group invites still work if the newer invite function is missing.
