Forever's Camping system lets players build campfires that everyone nearby can sit at for camp buffs, but the game gives you no way to see where camps are. Campfire finds them, pins them on the minimap, and shares them with everyone else running Campfire.
What's new
First release for the WoW: Forever beta.
- Minimap pins for campfires with tier, camp features, source, last confirmation and distance.
- Edge pins for campfires up to 1000 yards away.
- Campfires are found by placing, sitting at, or walking up to them (walking up needs Cooking),
from group members' placements, from other Campfire users, and from map pins in chat. - Search glow for unlocated fires based on the "Campfire Nearby" buff, with self-calibrating range.
- Sharing with other Campfire users over a hidden channel.
- Optional automatic posting of campfire map pins to party/raid, guild, Say and General.
- Pins are removed when a fire burns out; your own fires' burn time is measured.
- Settings panel and
/campfire//cfirecommands.
