A World of Warcraft: Forever addon that finds campfires and shows them on your minimap.

Forever's Camping system lets players build campfires that everyone nearby can sit at for camp buffs, but the game gives you no way to see where camps are. Campfire finds them, pins them on the minimap, and shares them with everyone else running Campfire.

• Minimap pins for campfires. Hover a pin to see its tier, the camp's features (Tent, Camp Chair, Mana Well, ...), who found it, when it was last confirmed, and how far away it is.
• Edge pins for campfires out of minimap range (up to 1000 yards).
• A search glow for fires you can smell but haven't found yet. It shrinks as you walk around until the fire is pinned.
• Sharing with other Campfire users over a hidden channel, so one player finding a fire puts it on everyone's minimap.
• Map pins in chat: campfire pins other players post are picked up, and you can have your own campfires posted to party/raid, guild, Say or General.
• Automatic cleanup: pins disappear when the fire burns out.

The game doesn't let addons see campfire objects, so Campfire combines every signal it has:

"Campfire Nearby" is the buff you get within about 100 yards of any campfire. It doesn't say which direction the fire is in. Campfire records where you had the buff and where you didn't, rules out spots that don't fit, and shows the rest as an orange glow. Walking across or around the area narrows it down, and once it's small enough it becomes a grey pin.
