Campfire Dad Jokes

Gather everyone round the fire. Campfire Dad Jokes keeps a list of dad jokes and tells them for you in chat, as speech-style emotes everyone nearby can see ("Bo says: Why did…").

Tell a joke

• Click Tell a joke for the setup, then Punch line! for the payoff.
• No repeats until every joke in your list has been told.

Auto-tell

• Press Auto-tell (or type /joke auto) and the jokes keep coming on their own until you press Stop or type /joke stop.
• Set the pauses on the Campfire tab: Punch line after (4 s by default) and Next joke after (3 s). Or type /joke pace 5 3.

Your own jokes

• 25 starter jokes to begin with.
• Add, edit and delete your own on the My jokes tab, or with /joke add Setup || Punch line.
• Restore starter jokes brings back any you deleted.

Compact view

• /joke mini (or Compact view) leaves just the buttons on screen. Drag it anywhere; it remembers where you put it.

Commands

• /joke: open the window
• /joke tell: the next line (bind it to a key with a macro)
• /joke auto / /joke stop: start or stop auto-tell
• /joke pace <before punch line> <between jokes>: auto-tell pauses in seconds (0.5 to 60)
• /joke mini: compact view
• /joke skip: drop the joke in progress
• /joke share: say where to get the addon
• /joke help: list the commands

Nothing is sent during combat or a match: the addon tells you, and you can click again afterwards.
