Adding an item note.
Description
Allows you to add notes to any item or targetable unit. Notes are managed via chat window commands (see below) and an add-note menu entry for targetted units. Players from other servers are supported with name-realm.
Notes are saved per-account, and can be found in 'World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables\BxTooltipNotes.lua'
Syntax:
/note [item-or-unit] note-text
/addnote [item-or-unit] note-text
/delnote [item-or-unit]
Note that item-or-unit is optional, by default the note applies to the targeted unit. If you prefix yourmessage text with a + or - the note will be coloured blue or red instead of the default yellow.
