BV Addon Suite - Quest

Your quest log beside the world map instead of on top of it, a focus tracker that shows what is near you first, and a banner for dungeon runs.

Requires: BV Addon Suite - Core

Off by default. Turn it on with /bv quest on.

Features

Quest log beside the map

• A compact list and the quest details docked to the world map; the map itself stays Blizzard's, so map addons keep working
• Order of map, list and details is up to you; drag the edges between them to set the widths
• Grouping (current zone first, by zone, by status) and sorting (nearest objective, progress, ready first, level, recent progress, name) are separate settings
• Search, pinned quests on top, multi-select with Ctrl, tracking with Shift
• Level badges, tags for elite, group size and dungeon quests, progress and distance in every row
• Details with objectives and progress bars, quest text, rewards with an upgrade marker, and buttons to track, share, navigate, open on Wowhead or abandon
• Blizzard's own side panel stays reachable from a slim rail at the map

Tracker

• Your tracked quests plus those of your current zone, nearest first; or only tracked ones, or the nearest few
• Objectives with thin progress bars, a "Ready to turn in" line and the distance to each quest
• Dungeon quests in their own section per dungeon, with a slightly warmer colour
• Full, compact or names-only layout; shown, faded or hidden in combat and instances; optional mouseover-only
• Click to set the navigation target, Shift-click to stop tracking, right-click for actions
• Auto-focus: the nearest quest becomes your navigation target until you pick one yourself (/bv quest focus, bindable as a macro)
• Movable and resizable, scrolls when it is taller than its box; Blizzard's tracker is hidden while it is on

Dungeon banner

• In party dungeons: time inside, experience and gold with rates per hour
• Hover for the bosses killed and the time to your next level at this pace; start over with one click

Notifications

• Quest progress ("7/12 Silithid Egg") and quest ready appear on Core's notification stage the moment they happen; Blizzard's own progress line is left out while yours is on

Style

Follows the suite's in-game style (BV, WoW, Clean or Clean matching your UI) or uses its own.

Works with

• BV Addon Suite - Map: waypoints to quest objectives from the list and the tracker, and quest counts in the zone banner
• BV Addon Suite - Quest Navigation: a button beside each objective and the turn-in; BV Routing leads you there, spot by spot (uses Questie's database)
