Description
Brum's Summon Helper is a warlock summoning coordinator for WoW Classic Era and Hardcore. It's a from-scratch successor to the now-unsupported RaidSummon, rewritten clean for the modern Era client and fully message-compatible with groups still running RaidSummon.
Summon Request List
Group members who type a keyword (123, sum..., port... by default; configurable Lua patterns) in say, yell, party, raid, or whisper are added to a compact, movable frame. Works in parties and raids, and the list stays in sync for every player running the addon.
Click to Summon
Left-click targets the player, right-click casts Ritual of Summoning, Ctrl+left-click removes the entry. Rows show here and off tags so you don't waste a shard on someone standing next to you.
[New!] Live Summon Status
Rows track the actual summon offer. sent shows while the dialog is up, then the row removes itself on accept or turns red on decline so another warlock can retry.
[New!] Soul Shard Tracking
Every warlock running the addon shares their shard count with the group, so you can see at a glance who should cast next. Counts turn red below a configurable threshold.
Announcements
Whisper the target, post in party or raid chat, and include zone and subzone, each individually toggleable. Announcements fire from your actual cast, so summoning from a macro or the spellbook works too.
Commands
/bsh or /brumsummon
toggle,list,clearadd <name>,remove <name>,addallshards,warn <n>kwlist,kwadd,kwremoveconfig,resetpos,demo
Due to Blizzard restrictions the summon buttons cannot update during combat; the frame refreshes itself the moment combat ends.
What's Different from RaidSummon
Complete rewrite with no code carried over. No embedded libraries (no Ace3). Party support, not just raids. Summon accept and decline tracking via the client's incoming-summon status. Group-wide soul shard counts. Announcements driven by real cast events instead of button clicks. Meeting Stone support intentionally dropped (Era focus).
Credit to Tyche and the RaidSummon authors for the original addon that inspired this one.
