BossStats

BossStats is a lightweight Retail addon for level 30 legacy raid armor planning.

It shows how much armor each supported boss has, how much physical damage reduction that armor gives, and which armor-reduction setup gives the best physical damage gain.

BossStats currently covers boss records from Classic through Wrath.

It is designed for level 30 raiders who want in-game answers.

What it shows

For each boss, BossStats displays:

Current armor
Physical damage reduction from that armor
Best armor-reduction tool setup
Armor left after using that setup
Remaining damage reduction
Expected physical damage gain

Armor reduction tools

BossStats compares the relevant armor-reduction options:

Phantom Blade
Vibroblade
Annihilator

It accounts for their reduction amounts and stacking behavior, then recommends the best option for that boss.

How the data works

The boss armor values were collected from Retail Advanced Combat Log data.

Damage reduction and damage gain are calculated directly from the boss armor value inside the addon.

Design goals

Lightweight
No combat-blocking UI
No automatic target scanning
No external dependencies
Clear armor and damage-gain information
Useful for level 30 legacy raiding and testing

Boss selection is done through a manual picker and minimap button. This avoids Retail protected unit API issues and keeps the addon safe and simple.

Open the boss picker.

/bossstats hide
Hide the current window.

/bossstats off
Hide BossStats windows and launcher.

/bossstats on
Re-enable BossStats.

Show addon version and boss count.
