Books Forever

Books Forever tracks the 40 library books listed in World of Warcraft: Forever. Its resizable window groups books by zone and shows whether each book is missing, collected, or turned in. Progress is stored separately for each character.

Features

• Detects collected books by item ID when they enter your bags, regardless of client language.
• Checks completed book turn-in quests when you log in, including books submitted before the addon was installed where a quest ID is known.
• Displays localized book names, zone names, and item icons from your WoW client. The interface supports English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
• Shows book counts by zone and a progress bar. Drag the lower-right corner to resize the window; its position and size are saved.
• Click a book to send a /way command to TomTom, if TomTom is installed. The addon works without TomTom.

Usage

Type /bookui to show or hide the tracker. Click a zone header to expand it. Click a book for a TomTom waypoint. Drag the window to move it, or drag its lower-right corner to resize it.

Installation

Install with the CurseForge app for WoW Forever, or extract the ZIP archive into your game's Interface/AddOns folder. The archive contains the BooksForever folder with BooksForever.toc and BooksForever.lua.

Support development

Books Forever is free. If you find it useful, you can support development on Boosty. Donations support future updates to Books Forever and the development of other addons for WoW Forever.
