# RuneRestock
A World of Warcraft Classic TBC Anniversary addon for Mages that automatically restocks your teleportation and portal runes when visiting vendors.
New Feature — Configurable stock amount:
RuneRestockDB.minStock replaces the old hardcoded MIN_STOCK = 20 constant- Defaults to
20 and persists between sessions via SavedVariables
- New slash command:
/rr stock <amount> — e.g. /rr stock 40 sets the target for all three reagents
/rr status now shows the current min stock value- Existing installs upgrading from the old version get
minStock auto-initialized to 20 on load
## Features
- Automatically purchases **Rune of Teleportation** when you have less than 20 (only if level 20+)
- Automatically purchases **Rune of Portals** when you have less than 20 (only if level 35+)
- Smart purchasing - only buys what you need to reach 20 runes
- Works with any vendor that sells these runes
- Mage-only (won't activate for other classes)
## Installation
1. Download the addon files
2. Extract the folder to your WoW Classic TBC installation:
```
World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns\RuneRestock\
```
3. Make sure the folder contains:
- `RuneRestock.toc`
- `RuneRestock.lua`
4. Restart WoW or reload UI (`/reload`)
## Usage
The addon works automatically! Simply open any reagent vendor and it will:
- Check your current rune counts
- Purchase the needed amount to bring you to 20 of each type
- Display a message showing what was purchased
### Commands
- `/rr toggle` - Enable/disable auto-restocking
- `/rr debug` - Toggle debug messages (shows detailed info)
- `/rr status` - Show current rune counts and addon status
- `/rr` - Show help
### Examples
**Scenario 1:** You're level 25 with 13 Rune of Teleportation
- Opens vendor → Purchases 7 runes → You now have 20
**Scenario 2:** You're level 35 with 5 Rune of Teleportation and 0 Rune of Portals
- Opens vendor → Purchases 15 teleport runes
- Purchases 20 portal runes (you can now create portals starting at level 35, Theramore)
**Scenario 3:** You're level 60 with 18 of each rune
- Opens vendor → Purchases 2 of each → You now have 20 of each
**Scenario 4:** You're level 15
- Opens vendor → Nothing happens (need level 20+ for teleportation runes)
## Requirements
- World of Warcraft Classic TBC (Anniversary or Era)
- Mage character
- Level 20+ for automatic Teleportation rune purchasing
- Level 35+ for automatic Portal rune purchasing
## Item IDs
- Rune of Teleportation: 17031
- Rune of Portals: 17032
## Notes
- The addon only works for Mage characters
- Teleportation runes are only purchased at level 20+ (when you learn teleport spells)
- Portal runes are only purchased at level 35+ (when you learn portal spells)
- The addon uses a small delay (0.1s) after opening vendor to ensure merchant data is loaded
- Purchases are made automatically - make sure you have enough gold!
## Troubleshooting
**Addon not working?**
1. Type `/rr status` to check if it's enabled
2. Make sure you're a Mage
3. Try `/rr debug` to see detailed messages
4. Type `/reload` to reload the UI
**Runes not being purchased?**
- Ensure the vendor actually sells these runes
- Check if you have enough bag space
- Verify you have enough gold
- Enable debug mode to see what's happening
## Support
If you encounter issues, enable debug mode (`/rr debug`) and check what messages appear when you open a vendor.
