BiSHealing 0.8.1
What's new
Everything since 0.7.6, which is the last version that reached CurseForge.
- Shamans get their heal-over-time back. Riptide now shows on a cell with its countdown, the way a priest's Renew and a druid's Rejuvenation always have. It is found by name in your own spellbook, so it appears the day you train it and never before.
- A buff you can watch on the whole group:
/bish watch <spell>. Name a spell you have trained and the reminder tells you between pulls when it is not up on anyone./bish watch offstops it, and nothing is watched until you ask. - It works in a dungeon, which is the point. The buff is asked for by spell id rather than by reading a unit's whole aura list — and by id is the one aura question this client still answers inside an instance, where listing auras is refused outright even between pulls. Confirmed in Shadowfang Keep: the old way is refused there, the new way answers.
- And it never reports a guess as a fact. If the game is hiding a buff, that is now "we cannot tell" rather than "it is not up" — a hidden buff and a missing one look identical, and the difference matters when the addon is about to tell your raid something.
- A new window:
BiS> now. A help button that is faint while you are well, amber at 70%, red by 40%, with its outline following — the colour is chosen by the game from health the addon is never allowed to see. Click it to ping for help. On your corpse it keeps a dimmer, slower glow so a battle-res can find you. More buttons arrive as you need them — each one earns its place the first time its moment happens, and the order learns: what keeps coming up drifts to the front. - Pings on your mouse. Four of them — Assist, Attack, Warning, On My Way — dragged onto any
mouse button or the wheel in
/bish mouse, wearing the game's own icons. Click a cell and the ping lands on that person. - The number on a cell was being asked about with the wrong spell. A fix under the floor: ranks were being looked up by their row in your spellbook rather than by their spell id, which quietly broke the out-of-range dimming's first attempt at an answer.
/bish byid,/bish ping,/bish curve,/bish controland/bish hitsreport what this client will and will not tell the addon. They are for bug reports, and they are why several of the fixes above exist.
