“Can this character access this raid or dungeon right now?”

BeaconPath reads standard World of Warcraft character, quest, achievement, campaign, lockout, and map data to display:

current-character access status
prerequisite and campaign information
the next required step
completion and lockout state
verified entrance locations and travel guidance
supporting account-wide progress where useful

Current-character access is always the primary verdict. Account-wide completion is shown only as secondary context and does not override a character-specific locked state.

BeaconPath does not:

automate movement
control the player’s character
automate combat
interact with protected actions
launch external websites
transmit or collect user data

Navigation features use standard World of Warcraft map APIs. BeaconPath includes structured entrance-location coverage for raids and dungeons from Classic through Midnight, including verified map locations, practical outdoor approach points, and travel notes for shared hubs, caves, portal rooms, phased zones, and interior instance complexes.

Modern expansions include character-specific access profiles and milestone guidance. Where the game APIs allow it, BeaconPath uses quest completion and live location data to verify whether the current character has established access to expansion hubs, campaign zones, travel routes, raids, and dungeons.

The add-on is event-driven and does not perform constant background scanning. Progress information refreshes at login, during relevant game events, or when the player manually selects Refresh.

BeaconPath 1.4.0 is a character-first access, progression, completion, and navigation companion for raids and dungeons across every expansion currently represented in the add-on.
