BeaconPath is a World of Warcraft Retail progress companion for players returning to the game or managing several characters.

It brings raid and dungeon access information, Warband character readiness, prerequisite tracking, and account-wide planning together in one interface.

What BeaconPath does

• Shows raids and dungeons from Classic through Midnight.
• Explains whether an activity is open, locked, scheduled, or needs verification.
• Identifies the next prerequisite quest or access step.
• Provides entrance and travel guidance when available.
• Tracks relevant character progress whenever each character is logged in.
• Compares tracked characters and recommends the best-prepared character.
• Saves an account-wide plan containing up to five activities.
• Keeps the selected activity, assigned character, and queue order across relogs.
• Detects whether a prerequisite quest needs to be started, continued, or reacquired.

Warband Planner

Choose an activity, open Warband, and select the character you want to use. BeaconPath shows that character’s readiness, known requirements, and next action.

Activities can be arranged as:

• Up Next
• Next
• Later

The plan is account-wide, so it remains available when you log into another tracked character.

BeaconPath only learns character-specific information while that character is logged in. Older information is clearly marked when it needs to be refreshed.

Clear, actionable guidance

BeaconPath keeps technical evidence in its diagnostics and presents straightforward guidance in the main interface:

When an activity has no prerequisite chain, BeaconPath avoids displaying an unnecessary empty checklist.

Diagnostics and support

If something appears incorrect, use:

/beaconpath report

The report includes addon and client versions, catalog status, Warband tracking, Planner integrity, validation results, and captured runtime errors.
