One addon. One clear view of your Lua errors.

BambyTrace brings Lua error monitoring, a minimap status light, readable details, and a short history together in one compact addon. It is a simpler way forward for players and addon authors who want useful diagnostics without a stack of separate tools.

BambyTrace keeps new Lua errors from opening a window in the middle of your screen. The minimap indicator stays green when the current session is clear and turns red when errors or warnings have been recorded.
Click it whenever you want to inspect the details in Blizzard's native, copyable error window.

What you get:

- A compact error window with the addon name, error or warning type, timestamp, count, stack, and locals when the client provides them.
- Color highlights for readable addon references and the detection time.
- Current Session, Previous Session, and All Bugs views.
- A bounded history of up to 48 readable entries for at most 24 hours; long details are shortened visibly.
- Delete History in the options to clear saved entries and reload the current error list.
- Optional chat notice and sound, three font sizes, and a movable minimap icon.
- /btrace or /bambytrace to open the window; /btrace options for settings.

BambyTrace uses the game's own error capture. It sends no error text to a server and does not replace the native Lua error handler. Secret or unreadable error details are not archived. Automatic popup control depends on whether the client permits changing scriptErrors.

Build targets:
WoW: Midnight/Retail interface 120100 and WoW: Forever Beta interface 16001 (locally installed build 1.60.1.70058). Source and local mock checks cover both targets. Ingame validation of this release, especially Forever, combat, Secret values, copying, and taint, is still pending. Forever may need manual installation if CurseForge offers no matching game version.
