Bait Guard is a small companion for Auctionator that protects you from bait listings on the auction house.
A bait listing is a tiny quantity of a commodity posted far below the real market price, hoping that other sellers will undercut it and dump their stock cheaply. When Auctionator picks a price on its Selling tab, Bait Guard skips those listings and prices from the first real listing instead, then tells you in chat what it ignored.
How it works: the real price is taken as the price you would reach after buying 10 percent of everything listed. Any listing cheaper than 70 percent of that price is treated as bait. Your own auctions are never skipped.
It also copies the item you selected on Auctionator's Selling tab into the search box of the Buy tab, so you can quickly look up the same item.
Requires Auctionator. Type /baitguard to turn it on or off.
