One word. Six mistakes. Every day.
Azerothle is a small Warcraft word game for WoW Forever. Guess letters to uncover a familiar place, character, creature, dungeon or item before the bomb goes off. Take your time: the fuse advances only when you make a mistake.
Two challenges, one quiet workshop
- Daily: a shared daily word, six mistakes and an optional indirect hint that costs one mistake.
- Weekly: a harder weekly word, six mistakes and a free extra clue after your fourth distinct letter guess.
- The category appears after two distinct letters in either mode. Correct and incorrect guesses both count toward reveals; repeated letters do not.
- Daily resets at 00:00 UTC. Weekly resets Monday at 00:00 UTC.
The launch database contains 265 curated Classic names. Everyone using the same schedule gets the same challenge. There is no timer counting down while you think.
Keep your record
Daily and Weekly have separate statistics and streaks. Earn 19 Daily achievements, from your first victory to 100 Daily wins or a 30-day flawless streak. Browse the achievement journal with the mouse wheel and watch your progress toward the next milestone.
Copy a spoiler-free result or share it with your guild or party when you choose. Azerothle never posts to chat automatically. Records are saved locally; this is a friendly challenge, not a verified competitive leaderboard.
Made for a few spare minutes
A compact workshop frame, braided fuse, quiet sounds and short achievement notifications. Play with letter buttons or click Type a letter to use your keyboard. Press Escape to release keyboard focus. Sound and animations are optional, and reduced motion is supported.
Getting started
- Install Azerothle for WoW Forever 1.60.1 / Interface 16001 and restart WoW.
- Open it with
/az,/azerothle, or the minimap bomb. - Choose Daily or Weekly and start guessing.
Progress is account-wide within the same WoW installation. No extra addon libraries are required. This release is for Forever, not Retail or other Classic branches. For a bug report, include /az diag output and the steps that caused the problem in the project comments.
