Azeroth Mentor – New Player & Class Guide
Your first friend in Azeroth. Mentor sits next to you while you learn World of Warcraft. Big text, short sentences, and every tip ends with "So what do I do?". It never plays for you — it only suggests.
📦 Requirements / How to install
- This is the Core. Install it first. It works on its own.
- Class modules are optional: Priest, Warlock and Mage (see Modules below). They need this Core.
- Games: WoW Classic Era 1.15.9, WoW Forever (launches Nov 4, 2026) and Retail – Midnight 12.1.5.

✨ What it does
📚 Lessons that pop up when they matter
Your first death, full bags, broken gear, your first trade, scam-like whispers. Pick Got it, Show me or I know this.
🔦 "Show me" spotlight
Mentor dims the screen and circles the real button you need, with an arrow and a short caption.
🗺️ Leveling helper
Where to level next (with directions), quest colors for your level, dungeons for your level, rested XP and class tips. Step cards for every starting area.
⚔️ Who do I hit first?
When several enemies fight you, a small card ranks them and says why. The Target card says what your target does in plain words ("Heals its friends. Kill it first!").
🛡️ My role
Tank, healer or damage in kid-simple words: what your class can be, where to stand, and a checklist before a dungeon.
📈 Coach & My journey
Your fight stats and "How to do better" — your top 3 tips from your own play, like "You died 3 times while Fade was ready." My journey keeps your levels, quests, gold and big moments.
And more
- Reminders: missing buffs, low mana, trainer visits, unspent talent points, damaged gear, full bags.
- Group supplies & group buffs: who has a Soulstone, who can give you a buff ("click to ask" — Mentor never sends anything by itself).
- Places & Nearest: banks, inns, mailboxes, flight masters and trainers with a Lead me there arrow.
- Dungeon guides and a dungeon checklist.
- Kid-friendly helpers: "Is this better?" arrows, a picture stat page, "I'm stuck", stickers, a money jar, a break reminder.
- Make it yours: Pick a look, class colors, text size, Compact look, Edit layout to move every window, search (Ctrl+F), the bell for past pop-ups.
- Safety: lessons about scams and passwords.

🐞 Found a bug?
Type /mentor bug (or click the bug button). Mentor writes a short report you can copy. Paste it in a comment or issue here on CurseForge and say what you were doing. Thank you!
❓ FAQ
Does it play for me? No. It never casts, binds keys, buys or spends talent points for you. It only suggests.
I played WoW before. Is it too much? At setup, say you played before: the basics are skipped and Compact look turns on. Every helper can be turned off.
Do I need the class modules? No. They add extra help for Priest, Warlock and Mage. Install only the ones you play.
Why is something missing on Retail? On Retail Mentor shows only what works there. Class help on Retail is Warlock Demonology for now.
Why do reminders wait during a fight? WoW Forever and Retail hide some info from addons in fights. Mentor tips come before or after.
Is it in other languages? English only for now.
