Autopet

AutoPet v2.1.0 includes several internal refinements that make the addon safer, lighter, and more compatible with the latest versions of World of Warcraft. Core systems were optimized to reduce overhead, improve state handling, and ensure full compliance with modern API restrictions (including #nocombat behavior for pet summoning).

This update also introduces new functionality requested by users, expanding the addon’s flexibility while maintaining its lightweight design.

New Features in v2.1.0

Day/Night Mode:  
Users can now assign two different pets—one for daytime and one for nighttime—based on in‑game time.

Fixed Mode Improvements:  
/autopet now explicitly sets a single fixed pet and disables Day/Night behavior.

Expanded Slash Commands:

/autopet — Save current pet as the fixed companion

/autopetday — Save current pet as the daytime companion

/autopetnight — Save current pet as the nighttime companion

/autopetgo — Dismiss current pet and disable AutoPet

Per‑character mode tracking:  
Each character now stores its own mode (fixed or daynight) and corresponding GUIDs.

Improved safety checks:  
Additional safeguards for vehicles, control loss, cinematics, and restricted states.
