This is an adaptation of Armory for World of Warcraft classic. Please visit its add-on pages for more details. Though the classic version is basically a rewrite, the functionality it offers is more or less the same.
All translations are taken from the retail version of Armory. Please note that there might be small discrepancies with classic.
I noticed lag during certain events like looting / bag updating as the addon table gets populated from alts and your main. I have 32GB Memory so i doubt its my PC. I'll enable/disable depending if i am playing or not so i can view offline on an Alt if my main is missing any consumables for raid... Love the addon can't wait for it to improve
In reply to Voidheart90:
Lag has nothing to do with memory. Processing does affect FPS in general but without processing there will be no data. Armory provides a setting that postpones updates until you're out of combat and optionally waits until you leave an instance before resuming.

Maybe your data got corrupt. What happens if you open your trade skill windows to trigger an update?
In reply to Warmexx_:
Hello. The update from the other day has fixed whatever was going on. Thank you. :)
Would an update that integrates TradeSkillMaster be possible so it doesn't give the "WARNING: Profession data not saved" error and save properly when using/closing the TSM crafting menus?
In reply to MFJEWM:
It's not something that's easily fixed. The message appears if the Blizzard methods are not returning data. This happens if the trade skill window is not closed by using a button in the window.
How do I stop Armory from spamming my chat with "unknown sender detected" error messages every time I open a mail message from an alt?
In reply to cook_d:
-- self:PrintWarning(ARMORY_MAIL_COUNT_WARNING3);
In reply to baphrade:
Hi, I did this on the day I posted the original question here. I thought that there was maybe a way to change it via the options and I had overlooked it. I guess not but thanks for the feedback.
I get the WARNING: Profession data not saved. Please use the close button to trigger an update.
What did I do and how do I correct it ?? I tried opening Armory and did not see a close button.....
In reply to comicus13:
This means that you have to use the close button on your professions tab instead of closing it with the x.
This is a wonderful addon, thank you
I have been looking for a way to get rid of all the warning messages but i cant find it, is there a way?

Set mailbox expiration to 0 in options.
Hi, I've been using Armory since the day it was released for Classic, and have grown quite fond of it in the months not using Altoholic. One minor thing that I've noticed though, is it's not displaying the Armory tooltip info on items while mousing over their icons on the actionbars. An example would be mousing over my potions and seeing which alts do or don't have any, as a quick reference without having to search. I know Altoholic can do this since I still use it in Retail, but for now I'd like to continue using Armory in Classic since I'm used to it and don't see a point in switching back. No big deal, and I apologize if this has been asked before, but is it something that's possible to add to Armory in a future update? Thanks!!
Edit: Also to note if the item on your actionbar is empty (i.e. no potions in bags) then mousing over it WILL display the Armory tooltip info. Strange... I'm not sure if this behavior is intended but thought it was worth pointing out anyway.

I'll see what I can do.
In reply to Warmexx_:
Thanks man! Cheers!!

I took a look but as far as I can tell it just works. Can you try with only Armory enabled?
Is there a way I can hide my inventory (specifically just what I have in my bags) while still allowing all the remaining features?
P.S: how do you perform a scan on another character ? (aka, how can others see the data you share with them?)
In reply to BaronOfHell89:
You can disable the inventory module entirely. As an alternative you can disable the information being displayed in tooltips in case you still want to be able to browse through your inventory. (see '/ar config')
Every character with Armory enabled will store its data automatically when it's being accessed.
