This is an adaptation of Armory for World of Warcraft classic. Please visit its add-on pages for more details. Though the classic version is basically a rewrite, the functionality it offers is more or less the same.
All translations are taken from the retail version of Armory. Please note that there might be small discrepancies with classic.
Note this version is for World of Warcraft Classic Era. If you're are looking for a Burning Crusade Classic edition please visit Armory (Burning Crusade Classic).
Hey, I have an issue with some recipes still showing up as "Learnable by" (in the Classic Era version of the addon), despite I've already learned them, like this one:
https://imgur.com/a/fgbEXs0
So far I tried these 2 things:
- tried deleting that character in-game through the command string > exit the game > log in again
- went through the SavedVariables file settings inside World of Warcraft\_classic_era_\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNUMBER\SavedVariables, looked for the lua code nest of that character and deleted it completely
But none of these worked so far.
How can I fix this?
Thank you so much for this Warmexx. Summary sheet working properly in Classic. Be well and happy. Marble
Hey Warmexx, as of March 2022 I'm no longer displaying a summary sheet. Not getting a specific error, but it just doesn./t show when I mouse over the Armory icon in titan panel
1.14 client has backported the BackdropTemplateMixin stuff so a bunch of addons that didn't have a short-circuit logic checking the presence of the template on frame creation or embedding pinned versions of the Ace3 libraries error on live Classic Era (and I'm assuming the same for upcoming Mastery realms)
This also affects v1.8.0 of Armory.
A Burning Crusade edition has been released. Please visit Armory (Burning Crusade)

Armorry Classic is "sort of" working in TBC, but keeps throwing up a window complaining that there are "too may talents in talent frame!" Disabling this complaint should work as a fix for the interim, since everything else appears to be fine I guess?
Also, the scroll button resizes the window. Not sure if this was always a thing and I never noticed, or if it's a togglable ability that I normally have switched off that's reset. Honor window appears to be broken though, Not a big deal IMO

I created a new project armory-bcc which has been approved a few hours ago. It does build the package but not as it's supposed to. I'll try to find a temporary work-around. I didn't get any response from Overwolf support yet.
In reply to Warmexx_:
I swapped the classic version out for the new TBC one just now, and it appears to be working fine. Had to install using the CurseForge button here, coz for some reason it wasn't showing up in the list on the app. Doesn't display the version on the app either, but it works fine.
In reply to wyr3d:
I noticed that too, did the same as you and probably ask myself the same questions. ;)
Hi,
Getting this error:
Any workaround?
In reply to ChaozMannen:
You are using an add-on made for WoW Classic (Era) in Bruning Crusade Classic. I have to create a specific version for BCC.
In reply to Warmexx_:
Fingers crossed for a TBC version of this great addon :)
In reply to Warmexx_:
Yeah I get that. and I read the posts below that hopefully a TBC version comes out. I'm asking about a workaround for the current problem. Anything I can fix in my copy of the code that stops this from popping up?
Thanks for your efforts though, great addon.
Not to be a pain but am unable to find your recent version that works in TBC Classic. Am I blind? Marble.
In reply to marblexavier:
No, you aren't. Apparently CurseForge's package builder is dead. I also created a new release of LibRecipes and that is not being built either.
In reply to Warmexx_:
What about wow interface? Armory hasn't been updated there since 2015. I'm desperate... Using the Classic version for now with talents turned off.
In reply to marblexavier:
The problem is that I need the packager to make a release version. If you're so desperate drop me a PM with an e-mail address I can use to send you my development version.
Hi, just noticed that classbooks does not display counts in their tooltip. They are otherwise stored correctly and can be found in a search, it's just their tooltips that are affected.
In reply to theAnton81:
I don't have any so I can't test. If you can send me your data file I can probably figure out what's happening (warmexx AT wow-neighbours DOT com).
