AppelSwingsForever-1.7.0
What's new
AppelSwingsForever 1.7.0
Today's update is still a work in progress and I've got a couple things left to polish, so this might still change.
Design note: I leaned pretty hard on WeaponSwingTimer for the design. That system just works so well already, so I mostly just optimized and adjusted it to fit what I want.
Ranged bar: how it reacts
- Moving inside the windup box sends the bar back to the Auto Shot line until you stop.
- With Auto Shot off the bar waits at the line until you switch it on again. If your target died, it no longer waits.
- A failed Auto Shot try (moving, out of range) is retried by the server 0.5s later, and the bar steps back to land on that retry.
- Starting to move after the move line no longer sends the bar back: that move can't stop the shot.
- Your !Auto Shot macro presses are recognised and never move the bar. Pressing it while facing away no longer makes the bar flash.
- A melee swing restarts the ranged reload, as in the game.
New: behaviour
- When the bar steps back, the part it lost stays as a see-through stretch in the bar's colour and fades out over 0.5s.
New: move line
- A second line near the end of the ranged bar: start moving after it and the shot still fires.
- Shown only when you've stood still since your last shot.
- Options for on/off, colour, width (default 2) and height.
Accuracy
- Measured in game: standing shots, stops, retries, switch-ons and Quick Shots land within about 0.08s of the bar's end.
- Spamming the !Auto Shot macro can fire a shot instantly (a Forever bug). Those shots come early and simply reset the bar.
Fixes
- The Retail bar texture fills all the way to the border again.
- The ranged bar no longer flickers when you start Auto Shot from idle and cancel it.
- The ranged bar no longer gets stuck near the Auto Shot line after a kill.
- Fixed an error when switching the ranged bar's style.
- The "static/moving" right-click option on the Auto Shot line is gone: there is one line now.
