CLOX becomes AEVON: a new logo, AEVON addon folder and AEVON SavedVariables, with one-time migration from the old Public or BETA edition.

Important upgrade instructions

Exit WoW completely. Extract ALL THREE folders: AEVON, CLOX-Forever and CLOX-Forever-BETA. Enable AEVON and the data-only migration helper for the edition you previously used. Keep the helpers available until each character has logged in and migrated. Existing AEVON values are not overwritten; old WTF files are not directly edited or deleted. If both legacy editions have data, the current BETA takes precedence. Do not enable an old full CLOX runtime alongside AEVON.

• AEVON branding across settings, auction tools, Messenger, diagnostics and launcher; /aevon, /aevonmsg and /aevonchat aliases.
• Modern HUD/layout customization, round/square minimap and button anchoring, inventory capacity and persistent Keep/Sell rules.
• Unusable-item icon coloring in bags and auctions, collapsed auction groups and quest-log tracking synchronization.
• Connected map filters and unified right-click navigation; flight points blue only when activation is confirmed, otherwise green.
• Compact level-up display with newly learnable abilities from available training data.
• Spell icons and aligned columns in meter tooltips, proportional fade bars and refreshed diagnostics.
• Integrated Messenger: Whispers, Guilds, Channel and Combat Log; guild-named conversations, friend suggestions, unread counter, fading preview and the default WoW chat button. No advert invitations or duplicate navigation.
• Load-phase deferral and bounded background observation updates. No global Shift pause; native modifier actions, combat/secret-value guards, cursor/bank checks, server throttling and purchase confirmations are retained.

Validation and credits

Release type as requested. Target: WoW Forever 1.60.1, audited build 70450. Automated behavior, migration and package checks do not certify every in-game combat, taint, visual or route scenario, or all newer client builds. Integrated action bars remain experimental with their existing initial safety opt-out.

Bundled OpenMap and Whisper Messenger MIT licenses and all other source/data/font notices are retained. Attribution does not itself establish redistribution permission for other third-party data.
