[Aegis] - Group Guardian

Aegis is a lightweight group management addon that automates the small repetitive popups and decisions that interrupt your gameplay — so you can focus on actually playing.

Automation
- Auto-accepts LFG role checks when a Dungeon Finder popup appears
- Auto-accepts summons from a summoning stone
- Auto-accepts resurrection requests
- Blocks incoming duel requests silently
- Blocks incoming pet battle duel requests silently
- Auto-declines party invites from players not on your friends list or guild

Invites
- Treat guildmates as friends for any friend-gated feature
- Auto-accepts party invites from trusted players (friends or guildmates)
- Invite via whisper keyword — anyone who whispers your chosen keyword gets automatically invited to your group
- Optionally restrict whisper invites to friends only

 WHY IT WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aegis hooks directly into Blizzard's native game events — no polling, no OnUpdate spam. Every feature responds only when the relevant event fires, keeping your CPU usage effectively zero when idle. Settings are saved per account via SavedVariables and persist across sessions. The minimap button uses LibDBIcon, making it fully compatible with MinimapButtonBag and any other button collector addon.

Aegis was built as a personal replacement for a collection of WeakAuras that handled these popups in previous expansions. With Midnight breaking or deprecating several aura-based workarounds, this addon fills that gap properly using native Lua and Blizzard APIs.

Claude AI was used to help speed up development and iteration. All features have been reviewed, tested, and are maintained by a human developer.
