# Advanced LFG — v1.4 Changelog

WoW Midnight 12.1 retail. All items below were verified live in-game.

## Applicant management (your listing's applicant list)
- **Red decline "X"** is now a clean dim-red line-X that brightens on hover (native art re-hidden every refresh so it never re-appears).
- **Role icons → colored dots** — blue Tank / green Healer / coral DPS, matching the addon's role colors (respects the "icons" member style).
- **Invite buttons** use the addon's themed secondary button skin.
- **Root cause fixed:** the applicant skin never actually ran — `sb:GetFrames()` was double-wrapped (`{ sb:GetFrames() }`), so the loop iterated the frame array instead of the rows and silently no-op'd on every applicant.
- **Update mechanism rebuilt:** removed the 0.3s polling ticker (it was built on the false premise that Blizzard dropped its update global). Now hooks `LFGListApplicationViewer_UpdateApplicant` / `_UpdateResults` — the real per-row lifecycle — so skinning re-applies exactly when Blizzard rebuilds/recycles a row. No polling.

## Group composition row (top of your listing)
- The gold micro role-count icons (`0 🛡 1 ➕ 0`) are now the addon's **colored role dots** with role-tinted count numbers (full color > 0, muted at 0). Re-applied on every `LFGListGroupDataDisplay_Update`, scoped to your listing only.

## Raider.IO "export" ring behind Delist
- Raider.IO's minimap-style export ring was anchored to LFGListFrame bottom-center — exactly where the themed footer centers **Delist**, so it rendered over the "Delist" text. It's now re-anchored to the viewer's top-right corner (survives refresh/hide-show). Raider.IO's other frames untouched.

## Navigation & routing
- **Minimap eye → View Group** now opens your group correctly (was drawing the Dungeon Finder / a detached panel). Fixed `DetectedPage` ordering, the stale-`_activePage` custom-panel draw, viewer containment, and the blank-Dungeon-Finder guard that was racing the viewer.
- **Back button** in the native Create dialog now returns to the correct originating page for **every** category (M+, Raids-Midnight, Raids-Legacy, Delves, Questing) — verified end-to-end.
- **Delist** now drops you cleanly onto the Dungeon Finder (LFG home) instead of a stuck "Searching…" / empty list — and without the taint that was blocking the search.
- Removed a redundant PVEFrame re-pin on viewer show (window no longer drifts).

## Filter panel — full redesign
- **No more "Apply Filters" button.** Every control applies **immediately** on click (client-side re-filter — no server search, so no rate-limit/hang). The panel stays open while you select.
- **Text-only** controls throughout — no role dots, checkmarks, shields, or icons. Selection is shown by **surface + border + text brightness**, all from the active theme's tokens (works in every theme).
- **Bigger, cleaner layout:** larger dungeon tiles (art kept, bold bright abbr when selected), full-width Apply-As buttons, composition chips that wrap to two rows, a proper Minimum Rating input (debounced) and Sort By dropdown on one row.
- **Reset** moved to a quiet spot in the header; it clears everything and refreshes at once.
- Applies to **all routes** (Raids, Legacy, Delve, etc.) — one shared system, not a separate style.

## Raids — Legacy
- The expansion selector no longer lists the **current expansion (Midnight)** or the Encounter-Journal **"Current Season"** pseudo-tier — Legacy now shows only past expansions (…The War Within).
- **+ Create** on the Legacy page now offers **legacy raids** (the active route's filter is passed to Blizzard's Create dialog, instead of defaulting to current-tier raids).
- **"More…"** in the Create raid dropdown now works — it opens Blizzard's ActivityFinder (the full scrollable raid list), which was previously hidden behind the raised Create dialog.
- **Midnight raids fixed (regression):** excluding the current expansion from the Legacy list had accidentally made the **Raids‑Midnight** page show The War Within raids. Now the current expansion (Midnight) is tracked separately and fed to the Midnight page — it shows The Voidspire / The Dreamrift / March on Quel'Danas again — while still being excluded from the Legacy selector.
- **Raid strip selectors moved to the header:** the Legacy (expansion + difficulty) and Midnight (raid) dropdowns now live in the window header next to the "Blizzard" button, per‑route (shown only on their page, hidden everywhere else) — freeing the strip and un‑crowding it. Long expansion names are abbreviated on the button (WotLK, TBC, MoP, WoD, BfA); the open menu keeps full names.
- **Header overlap fixed:** the relocated header dropdowns were overlapping the **Portal Library** button on the Raid pages. The Portal Library button is now hidden while a per‑route header dropdown is shown, so they never collide.

## Questing / Delves / Custom
- These pages no longer show the **M+ Overview** strip (it doesn't belong there) — the top band collapses so the result list gets the space.

## Stability
- **"Create → Escape → reopen" break fixed.** Blizzard's post-Escape state dropped to its native CategorySelection chooser, which the addon replaces with its own nav — it was rendering **detached outside the window**. Now guarded: on close the Create dialog is hidden + the active panel pinned to the results list, and a guard routes any stray CategorySelection back to the contained results (the legitimate PvP chooser is left alone).
- Open/close no longer flickers/pops-in (resolved once the search-taint was fixed).
- All temporary debug scaffolding removed. Compiles clean; no Lua errors.

## Packaging
- Release zip trimmed to the addon itself (~1.6 MB) — the `.git/` history and the 67 MB `docs/` screenshot archive are no longer swept into the distributed zip.
