A tiny "Layer 2" under your minimap. Click it, pick a layer, done.
Abatti's Layer Swap shows which layer you are on and swaps you to another one with a single click. It works like the popular layer swap WeakAuras, but as a small standalone addon.
How it works
- Your layer: read from the NPCs around you. Target or mouse over a few NPCs and the number appears. Works in every zone, not only in capitals.
- The menu: click the text to open it. One button per layer:
gold = you are here, green = a guild member with the addon is on that layer, blue = someone in chat offers that layer, grey = known, but nobody there right now. - One-click swap: click a green layer. A guild member's addon invites you, you accept automatically, the addon notices the layer change, plays a sound and leaves the group again. Nobody has to type anything.
- Chat offers: messages like "inv for layer 3" or "w me for layer 2" in world, guild or say chat show up in the menu. Click Ask and the addon whispers them for you.
- Help others: when a guild member wants your layer, your addon invites them while you are solo (can be turned off). Players looking for your layer in chat get an Invite button.
Good to know
- Guild swaps need at least one other guild member with the addon. The more of you use it, the better it works.
- Invites are only accepted automatically from the player who answered your request, never from strangers.
- Layer numbers are counted by the addon and shared within your guild. If Nova World Buffs is installed, its numbers are used instead, so they match what most people write in chat.
- No swapping while you are in a group, in combat or in an instance.
- Runs on Classic Era and Hardcore, TBC Anniversary and WoW Forever.
