The EconomyBox mod introduces 4 new ages that reflect major economic trends in history. The first is The Great Sadness, characterized by a global economic depression and low levels of trade and growth. The second is the Gold Rush, in which the discovery of precious metals led to a rapid rise in gold prices. The third era is the Economic Bubble, characterized by unsustainable growth that eventually leads to a crash. Finally, there is the period of the Roaring Twenties, which represents an era of unprecedented economic growth and prosperity.

 

 

In addition to these new eras, the mod also adds new windows to the game that allow players to display the wealth of kingdoms and their corresponding power and influence. A window to show trade between kingdoms, with currencies that can experience inflation and deflation. There is also a new window showing the top 10 richest units in the game world, as well as new buttons for giving buffs and debuffs to units/kingdoms/currencies.

 

 

 

New game mechanisms include the ability for kingdoms to purchase other kingdoms in economic distress and for units to pay off a nation's public debt, new traits, new statuses, and BoxNews to let the player know about important world situations.

 

 

However, players must also be aware that if a kingdom's wealth drops too much, the kingdom can self-destruct. This adds an extra layer of challenge and strategy to the game, as kingdoms must balance their economic growth with the risk of collapse.  Overall, EconomyBox mod offers a unique and engaging way to experience the ups and downs of economic history in Worldbox.
