This mod adds 4 new books that can help you save a lot of time on basic tasks that shouldn't be complicated, but are complicated because the game wants them to be. NO MORE.
The books and changes are as follows:
Carpenter Secrets:
This book allows you to shop at Robin's store, access buildings, or upgrade your house when she is not at the counter (whether it's late or Tuesday and she's off to her workout). You can get this book anytime at Robin's store for 7,500 gold.
Secret Sales Strategies:
This book allows you to shop at Pierre's store when he is not at the counter (mainly at night, or when you use the Key to the Town). You can purchase this book at any time from Pierre's shop for 7,500 gold.
Persuasion Techniques:
This book allows you to convince Clint to upgrade a second tool at the same time, although it will cost you 25% more gold for the upgrade. It's a secret you must never tell him! You can buy this book from the Traveling Merchant for 2,500 gold. She is usually in the valley on Fridays and Sundays.
Pet Care Guide:
This book allows you to adopt pets early (usually you can only do this in year 2 or when you reach 5 hearts with your first pet). In addition, Marnie will give you an 80% discount on your first adoption and a 50% discount on your second adoption (this is if you don't have any other pets besides the initial one).
You can purchase this book at Marnie's store for 2,500 gold, which will be available after watching the event where Marnie comes to your farm with the homeless pet.
Animal Catalogue:
The date for obtaining this book has been changed from year 2 to when you see the same event as in the Pet Care Guide book.
