What's new

COMPATIBILITY

- SpaceCore now hosts the Apothecary skill, professions, level-up screens, recipe gates, and respec support. It
coexists with Better Game Menu, Walk of Life, Vanilla Plus Professions, Profession Books, and other SpaceCore
skills. Saves from the older custom skill system migrate their experience, levels, and professions on load.
- The workshop checks its Forest footprint and moves to a free clearing when Stardew Valley Expanded or another
map mod occupies the usual site. WorkshopOrigin can pin it to a chosen tile.
- Dahlia's Forest routes avoid water, cliffs, furniture, blocked floor tiles, and stale path starts. Her forage
stops move to open ground that she can reach from the relocated workshop.
- Aroma Match scans the Saloon for a clear wall tile that does not cover doors, warps, touch actions, or the
player's standing tile. ArcadeCabinetTile can override the automatic position.
- The Great Truffle Hunt yields Fall 8 when another mod already owns that festival date and reports the conflict
  in the SMAPI log.
- The Apothecary's Lot works on active Community Center, completed Community Center, and Joja saves. Old bundle
progress and unclaimed Vial Rack rewards migrate to Dahlia's board order.
- Multiplayer unlocks follow the host while farmhands receive their own letter and arrival scene. Journal,
cosmetics, festival, and uninstall operations now respect multiplayer ownership.
- Switching language at the title screen reloads translated item data, letters, shops, and Dahlia dialogue
  without requiring a restart.

FEATURES AND CONTENT

- Moved the Apothecary's Lot from the Community Center to a permanent one-time order on Dahlia's request board.
The order asks for Ambergris, Mandrake, Lavender, and Calm Incense, then mails the Vial Rack reward.
- Added four-frame burning animations for Calm, Cavern, Forest, Harvest, Home, and Spectral incense. Existing
saved incense items update to the new sprite sheet on load.
- Added a guided mortar introduction to Dahlia's arrival, repeat dialogue, the selected-tool reminder, and the
mortar screen. The hints remain until the player takes the first powder.
- Dahlia now has short follow-up remarks after her daily line. They react to her location, rain, and time of day.
- Calibration now has a line written for each of the sixteen scents.
- Aroma Match Master mode now opens a Scent Display setup panel when no device is connected. Players can enable
the local connection, read about the Omara device, return to the menu, or continue automatically after it connects.
- Added TV weather forecast and once-per-day garbage rummage scent triggers. Quest completion uses the shared
stat trigger, and trash catches no longer count as fish.
- Added the full apoth_uninstall preview and confirmation flow. It removes mod items, skill data, orders,
recipes, professions, mounted pigs, and obsolete Community Center data while refunding owned items.

GAMEPLAY AND BALANCE CHANGES

- Aromatic forage now shares a daily spawn cap. Geodes produce Sweet at the new tuned rate, and mint uses the
  shared forage placement system.
- Mining and watering sessions condense repeated actions into a smaller scent sequence. NPC scents wait for the
conversation purge instead of competing with dialogue.
- Scent Display support is off by default and can be enabled in settings. The UI and documentation now use OVR's
  "Scent Display" name consistently.
- Dahlia's intro letter falls back to Spring 3, so players who avoid the mines still receive the Drying Rack.
- The Drying Rack accepts supported flowers, herbs, and cave mushrooms with corrected item descriptions.
- The request board moved one tile north to reopen the narrow path beside the workshop.

FIXES

- Removed the obsolete Community Center bundle row that could leave a black screen after uninstalling the mod.
- Fixed workshop wall, furniture, shadow, bedroom gate, and collision data. Villagers trapped in the footprint
are moved to valid ground and their route is rebuilt instead of sending them through the building.
- Fixed Aroma Match placement in modded Saloons, Dahlia's Friday visit, and the reconnect case that briefly
showed the "Master mode needs Omara" screen. Scent popups stay hidden during minigames.
- Fixed the mortar opening when the player clicked a toolbar slot. Right-click now works inside the mortar UI,
and its hints stay inside the panel.
- Fixed a crash when a Dahlia event was requested during another event and corrected the ordering of her heart
  events and arrival fallback.
- The Scent Display client now backs off after short repeated disconnects and never waits for network I/O on the
game thread. Closing Omara Scent Studio no longer hangs the game or floods the log.
- Reduced routine startup and connection log noise. Repeated driver failures now report the session length and
WebSocket error once per retry window.
- Fixed request board reward counts, empty states, device settings overflow, calibration retry behavior, NPC buff
text, and several English and Spanish wording issues.

INSTALLER AND RELEASE FILES

- Running install.bat from a newer extracted release updates the existing mod automatically and launches SMAPI.
The mirror keeps config.json, so settings, key bindings, and the saved Scent Display address survive updates.
- Added update keys to the manifest and placed this changelog in the public release archive.

VERSION 1.0.1
-------------

Compatibility

- The Apothecary skill is now hosted by SpaceCore, so it shows up alongside other skill mods instead of replacing the skills page. SpaceCore is required from this version on.
- Dahlia's workshop moves itself to a free spot when another map mod already uses the vanilla site, which is what happened under Stardew Valley Expanded.
- The Aroma Match cabinet no longer lands on top of another mod's door, and can be pinned with ArcadeCabinetTile in config.json.
- Added apoth_uninstall, which strips the mod out of a save cleanly so removing it doesn't leave you stuck.

Fixes

- Entering the Community Center no longer black-screens on saves where the Crafts Room was already finished.
- Villagers can no longer end up standing inside the workshop walls or walking out through them.
- Dahlia keeps to dry land on modded forest maps instead of routing through the river.
- Fixed a crash when Dahlia's arrival scene started while another event was running.
- Her intro letter now falls back to Spring 3, so the Drying Rack always arrives on any save.

Changes

- Scent output is off by default. Turn on "Connect to a Scent Display" in the settings menu if you own one; the mod plays the same either way.
- Mining and watering no longer fire a scent per swing. A 34-rock run now sends 6 instead of 34.
- The hardware is called a Scent Display throughout, matching OVR's naming.
- Aromatic forage spawns through a shared daily cap instead of several independent spawners.
- Added TV weather forecasts and garbage rummaging as scent triggers.
- Far fewer console messages: routine traffic is no longer logged as warnings.
